15 Crores Corruption Scandal
A scandal of Rs 15 crore has surfaced, according to Private News Channel. Involving former Federal Minister for Information, Marriyum Aurangzeb, in the distribution of advertisements. She allegedly corruption of Rs 15 crore by illegally awarding a private TV channel’s. Private company a campaign worth Rs 15 crore for the “Ramadan Package”.
Marriyum Aurangzeb gave the campaign to the private company of the relevant TV channel. But when the company contacted the DGPR for payment, the authorities were unaware of this illegal act. Marriyum Aurangzeb pressured the DGPR for payment of Rs 15 crore, but denied any wrongdoing. Saying that an anti-corruption and NAB case could be made against them.
Both officers were removed from their posts on April 23 due to non-payment. The report also states that Marriyum Aurangzeb received a commission of Rs 3 crore for giving the advertisement to the private company of the TV channel.

پرائیویٹ نیوز چینل کے مطابق سابق وفاقی وزیر اطلاعات مریم اورنگزیب کا اشتہارات کی تقسیم میں مبینہ طور پر 15 کروڑ روپے کی کرپشن کا اسکینڈل سامنے آگیا ہے۔ انہوں نے غیر قانونی طور پر ایک نجی ٹی وی چینل کی پرائیویٹ کمپنی کو “نگہبان رمضان پیکج” کیلئے 15 کروڑ روپے کی کیمپین کا ٹاسک دیا تھا۔
مریم اورنگزیب نے یہ کیمپین متعلقہ نجی چینل کی کمپنی کو دی، جب بعد میں کمپنی نے رقم ادائیگی کیلئے ڈی جی پی آر سے رابطہ کیا تو حکام اس غیر قانونی عمل سے لاعلم نکلے۔ مریم اورنگزیب نے 15 کروڑ ادائیگی کیلئے ڈی جی پی آر پر دباو ڈالا لیکن انہوں یہ موقف اپناتے ہوئے انکار کیا کہ اس پر اینٹی کرپشن اور نیب کا کیس بن سکتا ہے۔ ادائیگی سے انکار پر دونوں افسران کو 23 اپریل کو عہدے سے ہٹایا گیا۔
رپورٹ میں یہ بھی بتایا گیا ہے کہ نجی ٹی وی چینل کی پرائیویٹ کمپنی کو یہ اشتہار دینے کیلئے مریم اورنگزیب نے 3 کروڑ کا کمیشن وصول کیا۔
