صرف ایک انسان جس نے جنرل باجوہ کی مدت ملازمت میں توسیع کیلئے ووٹ نہیں دیا، وہ سینیٹر پرویز رشید تھے۔
سٹیبلشمنٹ نے نواز شریف کو لندن بھیج کر ان پر احسان کیا اور بعد میں باجوہ کو ووٹ دینے کی شکل میں وہ احسان چکانا پڑا۔
فروری والے الیکشنز ایسی شادی تھی جس میں لڑکا لڑکی راضی نہیں تھے، پر قاضی (اسٹیبلشمنٹ) راضی تھے۔
وفاق میں کوئی بھی حکومت لینے کو تیار نہیں تھا۔
میں نے نواز شریف کو کہا تھا کہ، مریم میں عوام کو آپ کی جھلک دکھتی ہے، ان کو پارٹی کی چیف آرگنائزر بنا دیں، بعد میں میاں صاحب ایک قدم آگے چلے گئے اور انہوں نے مریم کو سینئر نائب صدر بنا دیا، جو میرے خیال میں ایک مناسب فیصلہ نہیں تھا۔
عمران خان کا ایک کام، جو عوام میں مقبولیت کا باعث بنا، وہ اس نظام کو ننگا کرنا تھا۔
عمران خان کے دوبارہ وزیراعظم بننے سے متعلق کچھ کہہ نہیں سکتا لیکن جب بھی آئندہ الیکشز ہوں گے، مسلم لیگ ‘ن’ کا مقابلہ پاکستان تحریک انصاف کی شکل میں موجود کسی نہ کسی شخص سے ہوگا۔

نواز شریف نظریاتی سیاست کرنا چاہتے ہیں، پر ان کو نہ پہلے اور نہ اب کرنے دیا جا رہا۔
نواز شریف اور شہباز شریف کے علاوہ اگر کوئی مجھے شوکاز نوٹس جاری کرے گا تو میں پھاڑ دوں گا۔
نوٹس اکھٹے کر رہا ہوں، بہت جلد ایک کتاب لکھوں گا، جب وہ کتاب مارکیٹ میں آئے گی، بہت سو کے منہ بند ہو جائیں گے، اس میں بہت حقائق ہوں گے۔
ہماری غلطی ہے کہ ہم نے مرکز میں حکومت لے لی، اگر نہ لیتے تو پارٹی بچ جاتی، آئندہ الیکشز میں گھر بیٹھ کر نواز شریف کو وہ ووٹ ملتے جو ان کو پہلے زمانے میں ملتے تھے۔
2011 یا 12 کی بات ہے جب نواز شریف نے ایک رات مجھ سے کہا کہ، وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ مریم کے نام کے ساتھ نواز شریف لکھا جائے، ارتھ آر (Earth hour) والے دن مریم کا نام مریم نواز شریف پڑا۔
نواز شریف سے محبت کی خاطر پارٹی رہنماوں کی زیادتیاں برداشت کیں، یہ محبت اب شاید یکطرفہ ہے، بہت باتیں ہیں، پر میرا دل دکھا ہوا ہے۔
